Exciting news to share

We have some exciting news to share with everyone.

Ashley Isabelle is going to be a big sister!!!

Her baby brother or sister will make his or her arrival towards the end of April.

This weekend 7/12/08

"Mommy's Uncle Mike" 's bridal shower was at Lake Katherine this weekend so we took some pics walking by the waterfall garden in the Nature Preserve too.

4th of July party

After mommy & daddy golfed in the morning while Ashley wore out Grandpa Dave and Grandma Cindi, we headed out to a 4th of July party by a friend's house.
There were a ton of little kids to run around with and then of course the fireworks show at the end of the night.
Ashley got to hold her 1st sparkler too - while mommy & daddy hovered nearby very very close.

Summer Day at the Zoo

Well we finally had a nice summer day when mommy was off work last Wednesday so headed out to Brookfield Zoo. The pictures aren't the greatest because mommy forgot her camera at home, so these are from the disposable ones at one of the Zoo shops. We saw lots of fun animals, including the miniature horse Ashley took a picture of herself in the Children's zoo, but Ashley didn't feel like checking out the stingrays and sharks this trip. she wanted to wait until daddy comes with next time. I think her favorite part of the day was climbing all over one of the playgrounds that day though. The weather was perfect in the morning & then got hotter right around the time we left to go home to take a nap.
